I contacted Rhonda about purchasing a home and I got so much more than I could have ever anticipated. I want to buy another house just to be able to work with her again. Rhonda kept me informed of every detail of our transaction. She was professional AND personable. Rating should be 10 stars, but I was limited to only be able to put 5 stars. I just want to share my experience of getting my 1st home and having an amazing realtor who was able to support and successfully help me find the house I could make into a home for me and my family. I first found out about Rhonda B. Lawrence because 4 years ago she had helped someone I knew and their experience was so amazing and they raved and raved about their experience. Thats what made me research her to see if she was still a realtor, and she was. So when I was starting this process, I had a lot questions, special circumstances, and a short amount of time for everything to be done. Rhonda was not only awesome she was an answered prayer. I layed that all of that out at the beginning and instead of agreeing and saying Yes, I can definitely handle that situation (like the other realtors I had spoken with) she said let me reach out to a lender before we start to see if we can handle that type of situation. The lender responded with a yes so we started the process of homebuying. I'm a full time grad student and a mom of 2 elementary age kids and what I wanted was a lot in a home. Then in less than a month found a new home build, I made a deposit, and begin the process for a new build. I was so content, because we were gonna make my timeline with some extra time left over, went with different lender because of better deal, but the conditional approval process never happened within a month. This was new build, made a commitment after confirming credits and discounts, but after receiving my earnest money deposit, they advised that what they offered cannot happen. I felt I was gonna be stuck in a house that I liked but didnt love. Rhonda kept talking with me about this and she helped me end the contract because after a month of having all my docs things were not progressing and I was not happy with the home I was buying. Rhonda remembered the very 1st house we saw I loved it so much I wanted to see that again, but it was under contract now. Then another house on the same street became available and we looked at that and my kids and I fell in love instantly. Yes it was a resale, but all the things that we needed and valued was in this house. I knew I wanted this house. I prayed, submitted contract, and made an offer. The offer was countered however I still got all the things I wanted out of the offer. I was estatic. Rhonda walked me through this process of purchasing a house for the first time. Thank you Rhonda, you made this extremely rough and stressful process so smooth by supporting me, and listening to my wants and needs. Also noticing the things I wouldn't never know ask and gettibg clarity for me. Your expertise as a realtor saved us from getting the new build house; to being able to get the house we love while still accommodating all my special circumstances. This was the 4th home I have purchased. The first time doing it long distance. I needed a realtor I could trust and one that knew Charlotte well, as I was moving from Texas. Rhonda was that and more. Rhonda not only did the video walk through of homes for us, she helped with my lender and the selling agent when we had to change the closing date 2x. After the inspection, where several areas needed addressing, she checked numerous times that the repairs were complete. She also after the closing helped with cleaners and others we hired before moving, as we were still in Texas before actually moving in. Rhonda went above and beyond what many agents do for their clients. She exceeded expectations and truly goes the extra mile if needed.

Rhonda was a gem to work with for my family. We started this journey some years ago when we first moved to Charlotte -but weren't quite ready to buy. She stuck in there with us, checking on us, until we were ready. Buying a hone is such a big decision but she helped make it easy for us, not by being overly pushy but by being informative, response, and working on our behalf. We thank you for helping us purchase our first home.

I met with Rhonda Lawrence prior to making a final decision about which realtor to work. She struck me as sincere, professional and capable of leading me along the path of selling my house. She went over expectations and what I should look for in a lender, the process and even educated me on items not in her wheelhouse.
